Parkulab and Partners recorded and assessed the damage as well as prepared and represented a case in court against the Russian Federation to recover ₴17 million of damage caused by the destruction of the building due to shelling in the city centre of Kharkiv. A decision was obtained in favour of the enterprise.
The case preparation started from the first days of the military aggression and continued uninterrupted even in the spring in 2022 that led to the second court decision in Ukraine in the category of commercial disputes with the Russian Federation over compensation for damages caused by the armed aggression.
Although the ways of actual execution of the decision are still under development, the process of identifying, recording and assessing the damage as well as its recognition by the court has already been completed.
