Parkulab and Partners provided support in customs clearance, processing and preparation of documents to file a lawsuit with the court.
The case was complex due to its volume. The lawsuit had nearly 100 pages, and the total number of case evidence exceeded 650 documents.
As a result of the well-chosen defense strategy as well as of a systematic approach to processing a large amount of evidence, we managed to prove the customs claims regarding the documents submitted for customs clearance groundless and the actions to adjust the customs value of goods illegal. Thus, the decision was cancelled and over ₴27 million of excess customs payments were refunded to the Client.
In addition to that, the court decision also compensated the Client’s legal expenses in the total amount of ₴220,000.
