The dispute was caused by the customs authority’s refusal to recognise the declared customs value of fabric (at the contract price) and its increase of two or three times that led to additional customs duties.
The case was complicated by a high volume of delivery. The declared customs value in 54 enterprise’s customs declarations was not recognised. Consequently, 54 decisions on adjusting the customs value and refusal to accept the customs declarations were appealed.
The decision of the District Administrative Court, which entered into legal force, fully satisfied the lawsuit.
The result of the attorneys’ efforts was a refund to the Client in the amount of almost ₴13 million of excess customs payments.
